To maximize machine utilization and enable unattended production, Graphic Robotics developed and delivered an automated part handling system for a CNC turning center.

The system functions as an add-on solution to the CNC lathe and automatically handles finished components after machining. Parts are transferred and organized into a tray-based storage system, ensuring safe and structured handling without operator intervention.

By automating the unloading process, the solution significantly reduces manual handling and allows the CNC machine to continue production without interruption. The integrated tray system provides sufficient capacity for approximately eight hours of autonomous operation, making it possible to run production throughout the night or during unmanned shifts.

The result is increased productivity, improved machine utilization, and reduced labor requirements, while maintaining a reliable and consistent flow of finished parts.
